With a visual anthropological lens, Three Chords (part of the Meridian project) takes a larger focus to making; exploring the practices tied to a particular subculture. What rituals does the maker do before embarking on their creative project, during or after, is there something they do to support their practice – partaking in a particular drink, listening to music, wearing certain types of clothing as a ‘uniform’?
Analysing particular objects and iconography common throughout the sub-cultural practice.
